What To Expect
* We provide a morning and afternoon snack.
* Please pack a brown bag lunch for your child.
·* Each week, children will do various activities based on the theme and many weeks will include a special guest or project.
* There are water activities once per week as well, weather permitting.

** Activity Fee: A $ 30.00 one-time application fee must be included with your application form. The activity fee is non-refundable.
** Our Fullcare program is available from 6:45am-6:00pm Monday through Friday and can be added to any summer camp program for full day care. You must let us know and be signed up prior to the Summer Camp beginning to use this option to ensure space is available.

* 9am – Arts and Crafts based on the weekly theme
* 10am – Snack
* 10:30am – 12pm – Themed activities / Special Visitors
* 12pm – Lunch
* 1pm-6pm – After Camp activities

May 29th - June 1st – Zoo Animals
Come join us as we go wild with zoo animals!
June 4th- June 8th – Circus and Magic
Lions, Tigers, and Bears oh my! Join us under the circus tent as we go on an adventure with the circus.
June 11th - June 15th – Space and Camping
Do you like to look up at the stars at night? Have you ever wondered if there was life on different planets? Come explore the outer space with us.
June 18th -22nd – Welcome Summer
Come join us as we kick off summer with games, crafts, and a possible trip to the pool. The Mountain Road Library branch will also come out to the center to give the children a better understanding of the reading program over the summer in conjunction with Anne Arundel County Public Schools.
June 25th -29th – Passports/Transportation
Children will work on building their own passport to stamp throughout the summer. We will also explore the many ways to transport ourselves to our favorite vacation spots. We will design our own locomotives to get us on our summer vacation adventures.
July 2nd -6th – USA
From sea to shining sea we will discuss the many wonders of the United States. We will also make s’mores and discuss a common American past time of camping.
July 10th -14th – South America
Rainforests, the Panama Canal, and Latin dance into this week as we explore South America.
July 17th-21st – Islands/Mountains -
Do you love to experiment? Are volcanoes and steel brass drums some of your favorite things? Join us for a week of island adventures.
July 24th -28th – Antarctica-
In the heat of the summer who is ready for a chill! Join as we explore the cold continent of Antarctica. We waddle our way over to the local snowball stand to experience the Arctic chill.
July 31st -August 4th – Europe- A visit from Chesapeake Children’s Museum
We will explore the many types of music and writings that have been brought to us through countries in Europe such as England, Germany, France, and Italy.
August 7th -11th – Asia-
Have you ever seen the Great Wall of China? Dance like your Hollywood? Join us for this fun filled week of learning about the many different countries that make up Asia.
August 14th -18th – Africa- A visit from Kuumba kids
Let’s go on a Safari hunt. Have you ever wanted to learn how to make a kente or an African dance, than this is the week for you?
August 21st -25th – Australia
Have you always wanted to jump with kangaroos and hug a koala? Then this is the week for you. We will discuss the terrain of Australia and the many exotic animals found in Australia.
August 28th -September 1st – Oceans-
Let your imagination go wild as we explore the 5 Oceans of the world. The campers will discuss the different animals that live in the ocean and what makes up an ocean. We will talk about tsunamis
