Who We Are
Mt Carmel Child Development Center has been in operation since 1973. We are a church-sponsored and state-licensed facility.
We have year-round school age and daycare programs available, as well as preschool for ages 2 -5 years of age, which runs from September to June. Additionally, we offer Summer Camp programs and full care options for year-round education and care.
All of our preschool teachers and day care staff are fully certified and exceed state standards for continuing education.
Our Philosophy
Mt Carmel Child Development Center's main objective is geared toward the total development of the child; social, emotional, intellectual and physical growth from a Christian perspective.
We aim to help the children accept themselves as special people, to look upon school as a positive, enjoyable experience and to develop skills that will carry over into adulthood.
We strive to provide the safest environment for the children.
We believe that children learn through sensory experiences, social interactions with their peers, exposure to books, stories, songs and rhymes, movement and active play, and through creative
expression experiences in art, drama, and construction.
