Preschool / Pre-K Weather Policy
When Anne Arundel County Public Schools have scheduled early dismissals or emergency early dismissals Preschool will operate according to the regular center schedule. IF AACPS open late, the Preschools will open according to the following schedule:
ONE HOUR delay for AACP: Preschool classes will also begin one hour late. In the event of a one hour delay we will start preschool at 10:30 am -12:45 pm.
TWO HOUR delay for AACPS: Preschool classes will also begin TWO hours late. In the vent of a two hour delay we will start preschool at 11:30 am - 1:45 pm, which means you will need to pack a lunch instead of a snack.
If AACPS are closed for the day, Mt Carmel PRESCHOOL will be cancelled, BUT Mt Carmel CHILD CARE will automatically open at 8:00 am unless otherwise notified from our Call-em-All System or website.
